Possum Skin Storytelling
Possum skin cloaks are traditional to many Aboriginal families and are often inscribed with personal and family stories.
Last year, Vicki West taught us how to pyrograph our stories onto a diamond shaped possum patch, before sewing them into a small cloak.
This year we invite you to add stories to the community cloak, with all new patches to be included into the community cloak for NAIDOC week 2023.
All materials are included within the ticket price.
