Learn about the human figure and form while creating a three-dimensional figure from wire and paper.

Calling all budding sculptural artists for this fun family activity at the Museum at Inveresk!

Come along to the Museum at Inveresk these summer holidays to learn about the human form while creating three-dimensional figures using wire and paper.

Taking inspiration from the sculptural books on display in Unbound: Books Reimagined, participants will construct a small proportionate human figure in a pose of their choosing.

*Please note: As this process can be a little tricky and requires using small wire for the skeleton/frame of the build, this workshop is recommended for children 8 years + with their parents.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Bookings are required for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.
  • This activity will be held at the Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road.
  • All tickets are $6pp.
  • All materials provided.
  • Recommended age 8-14 years old.
  • Please feel free to bring a water bottle to the session.
  • This is a supervised activity and not a drop-off activity. Parents/guardians are expected to remain present for the duration of the event — and are encouraged to help and join in on the fun!
