Endorsed by the City of Launceston in June 2022, the QVMAG Futures Plan set out a bold new future for the institution.
The QVMAG Strategic Plan 2023-28 translates these aspirations into a clear direction for the institution, including its vision, purpose, principles and goals.
An interconnected set of Strategic Frameworks explains how the plan will be achieved and key milestones to be met along the way.
These documents align with and contribute to the City of Launceston Cultural Strategy 2020-2030 and Arts Tasmania's Cultural and Creative Industries Recovery Strategy 2020 and Beyond.
Together, they define the change that QVMAG will embrace and pursue.
This document addresses the Defined Organisational Strategic Development Program Frameworks of the Futures Plan: Aboriginal and First Nations; Accessibility and Inclusion; Audience Development and Engagement; Collection; Commercial; Development; Digital; Exhibitions; Marketing, Brand and Communications; Outreach; Public Programs (including Learning); Publications; Research; Sustainability; and Transitional Governance.
