Marjorie Bligh was well known throughout Tasmania for writing helpful and entertaining advice on household management, craft, cooking, and gardening. A large collection of her work is showcased in the 2019 QVMAG exhibition, Marjorie Bligh: Domestic Goddess, at the Museum in Inveresk.

QVMAG hosted its largest community project during 2018 and 2019 which was developed to complement the Marjorie Bligh exhibition. Registered participants in the Yarn Bombing for Marjorie project used donated materials to crochet and knit artistic panels that are now installed around the Museum sites.
