Be inspired by our This Vanishing World: Photography of Olegas Truchanas exhibition, and learn to sketch landscapes with Vicki Dewsbury.

Join artist and teacher Vicki Dewsbury at the Museum at Inveresk for this fun and informative workshop - sketching the sublime landscape.

The session is inspired by our current exhibition, This Vanishing World: Photography of Olegas Truchanas - now showing at the Museum at Inveresk.

First, we'll explore This Vanishing World, and discover the wonder of the Tasmanian wilderness through photography.

Then, you'll learn drawing techniques from Vicki as you learn how to sketch the landscape - and discover the 'sublime' wonder of nature.

While all ages are welcome to join, the workshop is best suited to children with some drawing skills who wish to become more advanced, or children with an interest in nature.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Bookings are required for all attendees.
  • All tickets are $6pp.
  • All materials provided.
  • Please feel free to bring a water bottle to the session.
  • This is a supervised activity and not a drop-off activity. Parents/guardians are expected to remain present for the duration of the event — and are encouraged to help and join in on the fun!
