Could we sustain human life on the moon, or even Mars? Find out in this fun holiday program at the museum and Planetarium.

Discover what is required to sustain human life on Mars or the moon then create your own model habitats to take home in this fun family activity at the Museum at Inveresk.

Join us at the Planetarium in the Museum at Inveresk these school holidays to learn all about what humans require to live on Mars or the Moon and what this could look like in the future.

Then, armed with your knowledge from the Planetarium session, head into the Learning Centre for a hands-on craft session inventing and creating model human habitats that would sustain human life on Mars or the moon to take home.

Please note: This workshop is recommended for children aged 8-12 years, accompanied by their parents.
