QVMAG is celebrating the Year of the Snake - with free family events for all to enjoy on Saturday 8 February 2025.
Be immersed in the rich traditions of Lunar New Year at the Art Gallery at Royal Park, with a variety of free activities for all ages and interests.
Try your hand at the ancient art of Chinese calligraphy, or take a calming Tai Chi session in the serenity of the Art Gallery. Discover the Guan Di Temple's fascinating history on a guided tour. Families can get crafty and create lanterns and snakes in a special Make it Place activity session. Enjoy traditional dance and music performances by children and friends of the Launceston Chinese Association.
