This August, the QVMAG curatorial team is venturing out from behind their desks and into the pub, ready to share their knowledge and expertise in our Curators in the Pub sessions.

Returning to Du Cane Brewery on Elizabeth Street, this free event series explores art and history. Bring in an old object from your home, and our curators will determine if it’s a gem or junk. Bring a treasured historical photograph for our history team to decode. Or, simply sit back and journey back to the late 1800s to discover the ceramic traditions of Launceston.

Our team is keen to share their work and their creative processes over a beverage or two. Bring a friend, bring an object, bring a beer - and let the fun begin.
