This Friday and Saturday two free community art workshops will be held at the Museum at Inveresk with Launceston artist Ralf Haertel.
Workshops will encourage participants to create colourful textile wrappings to add to the final 'Healing Circle' of Ralf’s rainbow installation work, featured within the exhibition My World: Voice and Visibility.
This work has been created by diverse community participants as part of the Rainbow Healing Gardens project, by Interweave Arts with Hiromi Tango, based on her healing wrapping textile processes.
The final community made circle will be installed on June 17 during the Pride Month event My World: Sharing and Celebrating at the Museum at Inveresk.
The final free community art ‘Making Together’ workshop will be held this Saturday June 10 from 2pm to 4pm at the Museum at Inveresk.
Issued 9 June 2023.
