QVMAG is celebrating the Year of the Dragon - with free family events for all to enjoy on Saturday 17 February 2024.

Be immersed in the rich traditions of Lunar New Year at the Art Gallery at Royal Park, with a variety of free activities for all ages and interests.

Try your hand at the ancient art of Chinese calligraphy, or take a calming Tai Chi session in the serenity of the Art Gallery. History buffs can take a guided tour to discover Guan Di Temple's fascinating history, and learn the fascinating stories of early Chinese migration to Tasmania in the 1800s. Families can get crafty in a special Make it Place activity session to create lanterns and dragons.
